Our Heritage

The property was originally owned by Don Potenciano Malvar who was the younger brother of the national hero, General Miguel Malvar. Don Poten, as he was better known, was the 3rd governor of the province of Laguna. It was said that there was a time that he owned a large portion of the arable land in the municipality of Calauan. Over the years the property was passed on to the children of Miguel Malvar and on to the 3rd generation. Our founder decided that he would like to see the property continue to be within the family as well as create a lasting legacy for the town in memory of the Malvar legacy in Laguna.
